Paddlefest

Try out canoes, kayaks, paddleboard and tandem kayaks for free!

Manitoba Paddle Association will be coming out with 2 dragon boats, 12 canoes, 10 kayaks and 10 paddle boards!

This year we are hosting our first official Dragon Boat Race at Lake Minnewasta. We are encouraging corporate teams to sign up to compete, but also welcome family teams if you can gather 10 people!


Paddlefest schedule:

*Note: Gate fees apply. It’s the perfect time to get your season pass if you haven’t already. Season pass $45, day pass $10. Current payment methods at the gate are cash and credit card only (sorry for any inconvenience)

10:00 - 2:00 pm - Free Paddling

10:00 - 2:00 pm - Face Painting

10:00 - 2:00 pm - Obstacle Course

10:00 - 2:00 pm - Lunch combo available at the campground office: $5 for hot dog, drink and chips

Stay after 2pm for Indigenous Peoples Day

Dragon boat Race

Dragon boating is a fun-filled, adrenaline-pumping, water sports activity. Teams compete in Dragon Boats, which are large canoe-like vessels fitted with ornately carved dragon's heads and tails.

Dragon Boat Teams are now full! Come and watch the action!
