Indigenous Peoples Day Celebration

We are excited to invite you to the Indigenous Peoples Day Celebration, which will take place on Saturday, June 24 at the Morden Park Bowl from 1 pm to 5 pm. This event is a celebration of Indigenous cultural heritage, traditions, and contributions within our communities.

Indigenous Peoples Day is an important event that recognizes the history and culture of Indigenous peoples in Canada. It is a day to celebrate the resilience and strength of Indigenous communities and acknowledge their ongoing struggles and our journey towards reconciliation.

This celebration will feature various activities, including traditional drumming and dancing, storytelling, Metis fiddle playing, and Indigenous artisan creations. We will also have The Indigenous Kitchen food truck serving delicious Indigenous cuisine, as well as educational booths where you can learn more about Indigenous history and culture.

We hope that you will join us for this important and meaningful event, as we come together to celebrate and honor the Indigenous peoples of Canada.
