Activities for Everyone at Arbor Day
Arbor Day is a one-day event celebrating trees!
People of all ages can take tree rides rising above the tree canopy in a bucket by One Two Tree. Many of the region’s best tree experts, including ISA-Certified Arborists, are on hand to give free tree advice.
On-the-ground activities include face painting, children’s crafts by Pembina Hills Art Council, story reading by the Morden library, slackline by Fun & Fire, wood-carving by Barry Dueck, sawmill demonstrations, tree planting by Morden nurseries, pruning tips, free hot dogs by Co-op and honouring the winners of the “Trees in Morden” Art Contest
In the spirit of Arbor Days celebrated around the world every spring, the City of Morden encourages all Mordenites to plant a tree over our Arbor Day weekend.
